This Seal starts the cycle over again. We are free to shake off any lingering residue from the past few weeks, re-establish who we are. Begin again.  However the tone today, being the high number 12, what they are calling complex stability,  adds the powerful consideration: embody the highest qualities of internal and social architecture.

Such a powerful statement is likely to leap out at you as it did for me...My life has been a bit bumpy the last few months, a couple of completely irritating incidents. Totally unbecoming language flew from my tongue. Anger lashed out as I sought to defend my point of view.  How frustrating when we lose control of our Being. Guilt, sorrow and more anger ensued as I instantly recognized the impropriety.  One of the difficulties we all share in these kind of situations is ego! Each on our own path! Cooperation is infrequently the focus.  We then have to suddenly regroup, tend only to our own architecture, take small correcting measures to regain a modicum of grace. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

This blog then is a forum to explore once again the meditations and affirmations piled up in books around me. Gather insight, perform action. By creating these writing in a public forum instead of ranting in private journals the time and effort required to compose and edit my thoughts seems to allow for a deeper reflection and a chance at balance.  I trust this endeavor might give you too...a moment of reflection...as we continue toward a better tomorrow! Ahau and Amen.

Tower of Intention

I may have just a quick note today, it has to do with codes, symbols, repetition of affirmations, Bible verses....

As you will have noticed, I've taken up reading the 13-Moon Calendar.  Today the tone is nine. Without looking at the reference the words came to me "Tower of Intention", the reminder ...what we put our attention on grows stronger in our life.

Ego Above All

No matter what we focus upon, it will begin to influence our everyday thoughts and actions, be it work or play, politics or religion, exercise or couch potato.....How we spend our days is of course how we spend our lives.  We are hugely influenced by what we think, see and do...

The key would be to notice and decide....how's that workin' for ya?

The Harmony of Spring Rain & Twittering

I had to repost this piece of artwork (I stole from the post of a FaceBook friend) so you could see it larger as it seems to represent what crossed my mind this morning:

Key word today is Harmony (8): The essence self (5)  plus the energy of the trinity (3).  This particular trinity consisting of one...self or purpose; two...bonded to another or a challenge; three...moving forward into service.

Harmony then is Love Made Visible!

As I listened to the twittering of the truly hundreds of birds in the neighborhood, their songs were not harmonious, they were cacophonous!  So I just listened, felt the light rain on my face and heard a dozen different songs, not competing, certainly not in the harmony of my thinking, but never the less in harmony with the morning dawn.  They were singing in the rain.

Just like this picture originally titled " Burden of Dreams" we have a lot on our minds. We are bombarded from every direction with to do lists, kids schedules, relationship dramas, fantasies, regrets about the past, and worries about the future. We make it nearly impossible to center ourselves in the present and be in harmony with ourselves, let alone those around us.

So consider this when a brief moment of mindfulness descends upon you...Allow the twittering to become songs, take a breath of fresh air and imagine humanity, our world and our universe as One. We and our tweets are not the center of the cacophony but a speck within the immensity of the crystal galaxy!

Those wonderful moments when all else falls away and harmony overtakes us,we are... Love Made Visible.

Now just wait until you read the recommended  approach to accomplishing this.  Honestly if you are looking for a serious belly laugh this should do it because it is quite a list. Naturally all the points are to be well recommended, but talk about Great Expectations!.....here goes:

I guess the point of this blog is to express my own reaction to passages which inspire me to carry on and improve, not just exist.  This particular glyph is one of the three that travel with me (you might want to determine your own glyph info from the Star Root Day Calendar to grasp this) and it's in the location of Challenging.  No kidding.  The last point listed, ...cautiously proceed toward goals...unweighted by expectations...is the real challenge. 

Every moment we face opportunities to make a choice about our reactions, whether it be a person...family, friend or foe...or political or religious differences of opinion...or something as benign as traffic or cold coffee.  To keep from freaking out every other minute we need to go back to the ...softness of the human heart.  Go back to our own heart, take a breath, and proceed.  I'm not saying be trampled upon, but make mindful choices.  Our expectations of others are generally huge, or at least mine are.  It's the hardest thing I have to accomplish I believe.  We just want others to be like we want them to be....and they might not want it also!  They are already them.  You are already you.  I am already me.  We have to back off and figure out a way...to be...peaceful....whether it be a relationship, a family, a neighbor, a community, or a country.

Tone Seven:  Channel ~ Inspire ~ Attunement

Humans are resonant beings...whatever energies we are exposed to, we have the ability to resonate with, or vibrate at like frequency with.  Notice how our moods can be influenced by the channel on the radio and the emotional , physiological, or mental states which are evoked by the music's vibration, By accessing keen perception of energies and vibrations, we can be more selective of what we bring into our field of play.  This discernment directs us to find our own state of right-alignment within any situation as well as surround ourselves with what inspires us.  Our mystic power is the strength of our personal attunement!

So you can see how matching up Tone Seven with Yellow Warrior today, given we have now read this info, we might be more prepared to tap into these resources.  When faced with a difficult situation there is a chance we might remember to think of tone seven and simply step aside and avoid it completely or if we choose to confront uncharted terrain, we will proceed realizing how our own emotional state needs to remain in balance as the situation may be likely to change our vibrational energy in a heart beat.

All of this is simply working at becoming more aware of what we are doing, as often as possible.  Think before we speak.  Walk with grace. Smile.

A step into the Mayan Calendar...Starroot...and Dreamspell

The Mayan Calendar where you can find your personal combo as well as the daily combination is a rather convoluted affair with tones and glyphs, kin numbers, harmonic and a Tzkolin grid.  It is however fascinating and moves you through a never ending combinations of...progress.  It's like two wheels, one with 20 cogs and the other with 13.  They continuously match up differently as shown here on this site 13-Moon Natural Time Calendar.  (don't let some of the artwork freak you out :o)

I followed these readings quite 'religiously' for some time, then it fell away as many things do.  With the recent deaths of my sister and former husband I've found the need to return to reading which gave me purpose and allowed reflection and inspiration.  Of course the day I decided to begin again was my own planetary birthday Kin 166.  Today however is Blue Eagle, tone six (these writings are taken directly from the 13-Moon Natural Time Calendar):

Tone 6 Rhythmic:   Organize - Balance - Equality

So we have Blue Rhythmic Eagle....sounds like rise up singing to me.

Sticks and A New Dawn

Looking at the budding oaks I realize how I prefer open branches to the leaf covered, hot summer canopy.  The air is fresher, the sky more visible, there is a freedom.  An odd fear swept over me as I thought of yet another change.

My Understanding of Consciousness Rising. A brief history.

Thoughts from "Before the Dawn" and Howard Zinn's "A People's History of the United States from 1492-Present" (that being about 1980).

Some facts I can remember: In the history of man, it appears that humans split away from the ape about 1.5 million years ago. Several species evolved...Neanderthal, HomoErectus and one other. All were wiped out by ice ages and predator humans I believe. Around 50,000 years ago the first band of about 150 left Africa, spreading north to Europe, northeast into Asia and east into India and Australia. These few voyagers are our ancestors. All humans have evolved from those few. All humans developed race and language according to their climatic conditions and security/safety (language) needs. As security needs became less demanding, clans settled together and eventually developed agriculture in contrast to strictly hunting and gathering. It has also been explained that if various cultures/groups/races were a subspecies, that is, less intelligent or ambitious or whatever, it would not be that all humans can biologically procreate with each other without any mutations. We are indeed one human family. Five groups have been generally accepted by anthropologists, European, Asian, Americas Indian, African & Aborigine.

Very little history has been recorded as materials have deteriorated. However it has been determined that gene transformation appears to take about 5000 years. (or did previously. I don't recall if the pace has been accelerated for some reason.) The premise that we are consciously evolving seems to be logical and reasonable. We have had the information from enlightened masters such as Jesus and Buddha and others...to love one another, do unto others as you would have them do unto you, life is difficult because we are attached to persons, places and things, and we can become wiser through practice, meditation and learning. We are 2500-3000 years into this cycle.

We can and will evolve. What we will evolve into is another question. Will the chaos energy we have created, the global warming, unchecked population growth and nuclear warfare cause so much destruction that the evolution of man will have to begin again, or will we grasp conscious realization of the value of cooperation? Because we still have a lot to learn...

Moving on to Zinn's History:

As the area of Europe was settled hierarchies evolved. (This occurred everywhere, but my focus is currently on the development of the United States) Somewhere during the 50,000 egalitarian systems fell away as a separation occurred between the rich and the poor. This is not a new phenomenon, but is was apparently more prevalent in the European and Asian cultures than in the other three.

When explorers began to travel to the Americas they were in search of gold. The native populations were easily annihilated. Even though they had waring battles with neighboring bands they did not set out to conquer or enslave as did those who came from abroad to settle what is now our nation. The horrors of genocide of the natives of all the Americas, the capture and enslavement of the Africans who were slaughtered by the thousands simply transporting them to this continent and the abuse of white servants, children and women is a longstanding history of torture and death. Very little regard was given the human life that was not male, white and wealthy.

The colonies were settled by wealthy white men. At some points the poor and property less slave/servant/Indian population was greater than the white families. This of course was typical of Europe. It was the status qua. No women were given any status. (I do not know how some queens became so powerful, but it reflects the immense challenge they had, even tho I believe they were every bit as ruthless as male white rulers. What I know of women queens, they were not enlightened beings).

Our history has evolved from wealthy male white "revolutionaries" to wealthy male white "deciders", with a few women climbing the ranks. We have made considerable strides over the 225 years since the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights, but "all men are created equal" was not written for anyone but wealthy, white men. The struggle over slavery, the genocide of the American Indian, equal rights for women and voting rights for every citizen of age has been painstakingly slow. If we consider however ,the evolution of mankind, the length of time necessary for genetic changes to occur, the length of time it takes for the brain to recognize consciousness, we will realize that the "fight" for Peace on Earth is not just a hundred year journey, but very possibly tens of centuries. Will we destroy ourselves before that? Will we run out of oil, and food and clean water? Will populate beyond the means of agriculture to support? Will we simply annihilate ourselves in warfare over power and greed?

I do not know. But what I do believe is that we have the responsibility to act on the consciousness that we have risen to. This consciousness is not better than someone else, but it is different. It is vital that we recognize such ego traits as Tolle describes in "A New Earth". We must work within the confines of what we know and feel is right, or positive, and what others feel is right. We must learn to create no enemies, to love one another, to know that we are indeed One Human Family..........and that War Does Not Work. It will not bring peace. It is not possible.

Culture & Consciousness: the Guru & the Pandit

Notes to stimulate discussion: (some of this is direct quotes which may or may not be identified, my thoughts will be in italics)

• Absolute Consciousness: consciousness itself is not an object, but the vast open emptiness in which all objects arise. But this emptiness is not a vacuum or a void. It is filled with energy. The energy that absorbs our love/hate consciousness. The energy that manifests what is taking place in our lives and the world around us today.


• Relative Consciousness: depending where you are on the scale from archaic to integral, each will have a relative point of view.

Humanity has a Creative Impulse; A Desire to Exist. This creative impulse expresses itself at all levels of the human experience, no matter the circumstances. A Desire to Exist! Humans are compelled to innovate and create, ...and with a sense of urgency.

We appear to have two primary impulses: 1) Sexual Impulse, similar to the Big Bang of Existence and 2) A Compulsion to Innovate

• we evolve at the level of consciousness itself which is really the spiritual impulse


• all humanity has had a spiritual impulse through out the ages


• currently "non-religious" (traditional religions) types are the ones who are seemingly more compelled toward this awakening of consciousness.

We want to know...Where did we come from??? ...and Where are we going!!! Enlightenment Evolves, it just does.

Wilbur's comment on page 46, when Cohen answers "Absolutely" was almost too difficult to understand, but when I got to the end it was orgasmic .

..."We get directly in touch with passion and inspiration and conviction of the evolutionary impulse itself". That is what I feel when I say that I've taken the higher ground, and once there, you cannot go back. For instance: War doesn't work; social justice and equality for all ....women and children included; killing has a trickle down affect, per Wendell Barry ...if a societies government condemns the killing of war, then communities, families and individuals will continue to justify killing to obtain a goal. (ie: a court will allow the death penalty, a man will kill his wife, or neighbor, a mother will kill her child..........etc.)

But be careful. We might just be lost in an experience. Yes, the Ego loves eversomuch to be Right!

Experience & Interpretation. Where are you right now? Wilbur says the the old styles of religion/spiritualism would be more concrete and literal, where the newer styles more accepting or have a wider view. "Available to all sentient beings" he said. But I say "sentient beings' is a value judgement in itself, isn't it?

If found myself saying: the traditional person will say they are right. That is their perspective. The post modern person will say that they are right. That is their perspective. Then I said Ah Ha!!! The Integral person/consciousness is the first stage that realizes the importance of the previous stages, not just that is is right, but that it is a growth pattern.

Okay, we finally get to what to DO. Wilbur says we must find ways to have our culture governed by Integral Values. Values that are truly comprehensive and truly all embarrassing.

This unfolding value structure has gone through or grown through the ages and is "unfolding", the tree of life so to speak. Tolle begins his book "The New Earth" with the example of what it must have taken for the first plant to create a blossom. Out of the crystalline or molten earth, something caused a seed to sprout and grow into leaf and eventually produce a flower. Eons pass. (It's the Garden of Eden story I suppose.) At any rate, we are here on this edge of humanity poised to bloom. We are on the delicate edge of the cultural evolution of mankind. There is a sense of urgency. We must step out. Become Pioneers. Risk judgement....yet with a sense of restraint also. Our ego, as Tolle so aptly describes........will lead us into never ending conflict. We must learn to create a quietness around us. Move and act with kindness and respect. "Love and do what you will" St. Augustine.

It seems to me we are on the delicate edge of two very important suppositions: 1) do no harm through thought word or deed and 2) take action, risk, to move our cultural to the next level. The monumental leap. You/I cannot pound seemingly good information into someones head who does not want to hear it any more than you can occupy a country that does not want it! Consequently, it appears imperative that persons who are on this quest, must indeed hang out with like minds.....and that is why you are on this list! I believe...that each person who received this gift from me is "somewhere" out on the edge, even if just a little bit. The challenge then is to determine your own sense of urgency and pursue that level of ACTION! Ahau and Amen my friends...........
